It has been nine years since Hannah Kahn and Ayden Honor have seen each other. Back then, they were a devoted couple in college, but Hannah all of a sudden broke it off with no explanation. Fast forward nine years later and Hannah is a new PR spokesperson for Greenco, an environmental tech company. Ayden has been hired to protect her boss; Ayden runs a company called Honor Protection Specialists that protects clients. When Hannah’s boss is killed, Ayden and his siblings commit themselves to protecting her. Through this protection, both Ayden and Hannah realize that they still have feelings for one another.
While the romance was enjoyable, the mystery was not. The reason for Hannah’s boss’ death is frankly convoluted. It became too complex than it needs to be. And it was not a very clever mystery. Also, while Hannah is a warm person, she is very naive.
This is the first book in a series. Perhaps the other books in the series are better.
